Terms of Service
Last updated: 19 September 2026
1. About these terms
These terms apply to the Axios '26 website at axios.psgtech.ac.in and axios.live, the registration portal at app-axios.psgtech.ac.in, and the Axios '26 symposium held on 25–26 September 2026 at PSG College of Technology. Axios is organised by the Computational Sciences Association (CSA), Department of Applied Mathematics & Computational Sciences, PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, 641004 ("CSA", "we", "us").
By registering or taking part, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not register.
2. Who can take part
- Axios is open to students of recognised colleges and universities, and to invited alumni and guests.
- Bring a valid college ID card to the venue.
- If you are under 18, you need the consent of a parent or guardian to register.
- Each event sets its own team size and eligibility rules. Those rules apply in addition to these terms.
3. Your account and registration
- Give accurate details when you register, and keep them up to date.
- Your account is for you alone. Do not share it or register on someone else's behalf without their permission.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account and for the team members you add.
- A registration is confirmed only when you receive a confirmation from the portal or by email. Spots in some events are limited and are filled in order.
- Your registration is personal and cannot be transferred or sold.
4. Fees, payments and refunds
Where an event, pass or service carries a fee, the amount is shown before you pay. Payments are processed by Razorpay. Fees are not refundable, except where we cancel the event or item you paid for; in that case we refund you in full to the original payment method.
5. Accommodation
Limited hostel accommodation is offered on a first come, first served basis. Requesting it does not guarantee a place until it is confirmed. Guests must follow the hostel's rules and the instructions of the accommodation coordinators.
6. Code of conduct
At the venue and online, you agree not to:
- harass, threaten, discriminate against or bully anyone;
- cheat, plagiarise, share answers or use tools an event's rules forbid;
- attack, probe or disrupt the website, the portal, event systems or college networks, except inside a Capture-the-Flag event's stated scope;
- damage college property or bring prohibited items onto campus;
- be under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the event.
You must also follow the rules of PSG College of Technology while on campus. We may disqualify anyone who breaks these rules, withdraw their prizes and certificates, and ask them to leave the venue, without a refund.
7. Results, prizes and certificates
- Judges and event coordinators decide results. Their decisions are final.
- Prizes are awarded as announced for each event. Prizes may be shared or withheld if an event has too few entries, or if no entry meets the standard.
- Prize money may be paid by bank transfer after the event, and may require proof of identity and college enrolment.
- Participation certificates are issued to those who were checked in at the event.
8. Your submissions
You keep ownership of the work you submit. You allow CSA to display, judge and showcase it for Axios and its promotion, with credit to you. You confirm that your submission is your own and does not infringe anyone else's rights.
9. Photos and recordings
Axios is photographed and filmed. By attending, you agree that you may appear in photos and videos that we publish to cover the event. To opt out, or to ask us to remove a photo of you, email axios@psgtech.ac.in.
10. Changes to the event
We may change the schedule, venue, format, rules or prizes, or cancel an event, if circumstances require it. We will post changes on this website or email registered participants. We are not responsible for travel or other costs you incur because of a change.
11. Website content
The Axios name, logos, artwork and website content belong to CSA or to their owners, including sponsors whose logos appear with permission. Do not reuse them without our permission.
12. Your safety and liability
You take part at your own risk and are responsible for your own belongings. To the extent the law allows, CSA and PSG College of Technology are not liable for loss, theft, injury or damage arising from your participation, except where caused by our negligence. The website and portal are provided "as is", and we do not promise that they will always be available or free of errors.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the courts at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the site or portal after a change, you accept the updated terms.
